Congratulations to Abby Reigelman for being named the 2026 Team Member of the First Quarter for Tioga County Public Health! 

Abby’s role as Secretary to the Public Health Director requires her to wear many hats, and she truly embodies what it means to be an exceptional team member. She is kind, highly knowledgeable, and always dependable—whether she’s taking minutes, reviewing documents, building forms, ensuring we are ready for an audit, or assisting with Project Public Health Ready. Abby routinely goes above and beyond to support others, often identifying more efficient ways to get things done so the entire team benefits. 

Abby works behind the scenes, yet she is an integral part of keeping many efforts moving forward. Her dedication and hard work create the foundation that enables the rest of the team to focus on advocacy, education, enforcement, prevention, and partnerships. 

Abby’s close coordination with the team, and her ability to anticipate what the Public Health Director and others’ need, makes her an invaluable asset. She is always willing to help, and her detailed meeting minutes, thorough record-keeping, and careful document reviews support strong collaboration and clear communication. Abby’s work empowers others by removing barriers and keeping projects on track. She consistently demonstrates integrity and honesty and approaches every situation with professionalism and dedication. 

Outside of work, Abby enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and two daughters. Abby loves to cook and she often hosts holiday parties for family. Abby is also very artistic and is a wonderful baker!
